Every character has a standard attack using their weapon which can be triggered by left-clicking, but characters can also have special abilities on the left-shift, space, and “e” keys. There are 21 to choose from, with each character falling into one category: Attack, Defense, Tank, or Support. The heroes are what truly make this game great.
This type of game mode is pretty easy to get a grasp on, so after just a little bit of time even beginners can make their heroes use fancy footwork as they make a winning play. The player can interact with the world and other players with a select few keys (primarily with the left mouse button, which fires the hero’s weapon). Overwatch is a first person shooter, or a game in which the player sees the world through the eyes of a “hero” of their choice. Though players can play against each other online, there is no official competitive system as of yet, though its release is eagerly anticipated. This game is a young one - it’s less than a month old, and is still building foundations as far as gameplay goes. Overwhat?
